Film Day!

The day is finally here, it is time to film!!! My group filmed our music video on December 11, 2022. While the day was switched a few times it finally arrived and we were filming the music video to 'Save Your Tears- The Weekend (Ft. Ariana Grande(Remix)). Our setting for the film was discussed, initially, we talked about filming at a local mall. However, after reviewing the plot and story we tried to tell it was decided that the mall didn't fit the video. So we ended up deciding to film at a local park. We made sure our park had a nice range of scenery. Some of the elements we needed the park to have where at least one bench and we wanted some sort of nature trail. We decided to film on the morning of December 11th at 11:30 however we had a change of plans and decided to meet around 12:00 pm. Once we arrived I got right to work this started by getting all of our equipment out of the car. We found a picnic table which became our meeting point during our filming. I went ahead and went to go take some scenic shots for transitions and other footage. I also was focused on finding different places I thought were good for the video. After filming the scenic scenes it was time to get to work I was the main videographer for most of the video. I also helped direct the actors and ensure we had good lighting/ video quality. Our first scene shows our actors on a bench so I had them sit and started playing the music it took several takes to get it just right. Next, we followed the actors as they look into the water as a happy couple. This is where our video takes the turn it shows one actor being sneaky on the phone and the female actor becomes upset and the argument erupts. The camera follows the female actor as she storms off and throws our prop flowers on the floor. The video continues to show the male actor searching and trying to win his girlfriend back. He eventually finds her and they make up and leave holding hands.
